Yamaguchi sensei

Yamaguchi Seigo Sensei is one of the teachers of Hombu Dojo who has influenced me the most. Not so much by style as by his enthusiasm, commitment and generosity.

Having discovered and started practicing Aikido in 1950, he quickly obtained a teaching position at Hombu and had a major impact on many foreigners who began attending Hombu Dojo classes in the 1970s (Christian Tissier, Frank Nöel and Gérard Sacks in particular).
